This was a beautiful part full of blooming trees and families. It was a happy place to spend time, The ancient wall that use to surround the city is partially preserved here.

Although I see lots of photos of tulips here and blossoming trees, there are none in March. The park and buildings are very beautiful. Wish I had been there a little later in the year.

I feel Zhongshan gets swept up in history rather than dines out on its own merit. I would not even rank it as top 3 in a 10km radius let alone China. Though it does provide better access to forbidden city.

A small park that takes you from the palace back to Tiananmen. It costs 3 yuan for entry but there's not much to look at except for a few buildings.
