This park is located in heart of old Beijing, it was once the grounds of an important ancient temple. Today it is a lively place where people of all ages come to meet. Early morning is active with many many groups meeting to practise all of the traditional martial arts, as a ritual beginning of the day. The walkway around... More

This is a Temple-kind park, but its not a temple any longer. This place is ideal for a stroll. The entrance is free, the toilets are clean. You can buy drinks from vending machines if you are thirsty while you're walking.

One of the lovely parks in Beijing. Has a climbing wall, adult exercise section, grotto, children's amusement park. The grotto is very nice and worth checking out while at the park. The amusement park is quite expensive. You pay per ride so it really adds up.

Immagine in the middle of CBD, in Chaoyang district in Beijing there is a park! nice greenery and sun shine in the winter. Imagine a walking distance from your office?!

Lovely, free public park ideal for strolling and relaxing. We visited in December on a sunny 10 degree day and enjoyed our walk around the perimeter and through the middle of the park. Seems it would be a very active place during the day and early evening in warmer weather. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by. If you walk... More

Lots of people exercising and playing cards as I walked around this garden. Lots of nice places to sit and take in the world. Very peaceful in a busy part of the city

We stopped by Ritan Park after visiting the Silk Market. We thought it would be just “another park”, but were surprised to see a very vibrant place that is kept in beautiful shape and packed with lots of people. We saw people playing a flute, practicing t’ai chi, working out, and just enjoying the scenery. There was a lot of... More

It's a beautiful park. I wouldn't go out your way to see it but it does hold the "Temple of the Sun" and other interesting little features. ( ie, Pond, lillie pads, rock climbing wall). There's also a beautiful mural. Walked from our hotel about 15-20 minutes just to stretch the legs a bit. If I was a local, I... More

Walked into this park on chance during a morning adventure walk. Was not disappointed as we were able to see Beijingers on a typical day. Nestled in the middle of a bustling residential district. It was a pleasant distraction.

I walked to the Park from the JW Marriott to work off some of the Jet Lag, roughly 45mins. Be careful crossing the streets as the electric scooters are notorious for even heading against traffic to get to their destination. The park is nicely signed and finding the various sites is easy. The highlight for me was the mosaic of... More
