After a close by lunch, we went wondering around and encountered this park/lake with a beautiful walkway surrounded. A lot of activities happens here; people jogging, fishing, resting and enjoying the sight-seen. A totally recommended place to spend the afternoon after a lunch.

I visited the lakes twice. Once while walking the south side and once cycling the north side. I enjoyed going around it. Especially with the bicycle. Be aware that around the Yindin Bridge there are a lot of tourists, Chinese and others. On the south...More

An interesting area to wander around and people watch. Probably at its best in the evening though also more crowded. Popular with locals and tourists.

There are a lot of small eateries and bars in this area. It is quite boring after a while as they are quite similar. The lake is beautiful and you can see local people doing sports along the river side, interesting.

By day the lakes are a scenic place to go for a walk with not a lot of people. In the early evening the bars and cafes get busier and they each have live performers, some of whom were excellent. With the sun setting and...More

Awesome place not to miss. A mix of serenity and the vibrancy from the pubs at night. It is near to the siheyuan and hutong. Good to explore by walking, cycling or ricksaw. Signs are everywhere and easy to locate. Have personally tried the ricksaw....More

I knew that this place was here, but we hadn't really planned on going there. But as we were heading back to the Shichahai metro station, we saw the entrance to this cool little street, so decided to check it out. A few minutes later,...More

The skating ring should be open by then. How to get there depends on where your coming from. Inquire once you get to Beijing.
