One of the most beautiful parks in Beijing. The lake with the hundreds of water lily's. Small boats everywhere. A beautiful white dagoba and some pretty smaller temple buildings.

A live-in temple for those monks. Information easily accessible to explain the taoism culture, practice, main even throughout the year. A wheel chair friendly place.

The views from this place is not that great. The temple though is nice and looks better after restoration work.

Not the most interesting temple to visit for sure I'm Beijing. But actually has some charm in the fact that it hasn't gone through extensive restorations like many other temples. Guardians still bare axe marks from the cultural revelation. The other awesome thing is that...More

Its closed for a refurb, the guard said it will be open again sometime in 2014, check it is open before you go!.............

If you go at the very top of this white pagoda/stupa and look down to the south you'll see the forbidden city and will have a great opportunity to take a picture. It cost another 15 rmb to get to the top though and besides...More
