Judons pass of great Wall is Nice view. But is very high and not for handicap or older people. Also allot of buses and the restroom is not so clean. So I don't recommend Juyong pass for a tour . It's easy and close to Beijing but they have more greatful place to go to see and enyou Great Wall.... More

The environment is very good. We were there just after 8:30 in the morning, before most of the tourists. It was foggy, but the temperature was perfect. I was so surprised that the wall is so clean now, without a single cigarette butt or a piece of paper. Everyone was enjoy the climbing/walk. Two of the female cleaners were dancing... More

A part of the Great Wall away from the more popular tourist sites on this magnificent bit of construction. Wonderful views, tremendous scenery. Windy and quite cool in November, so dress in layers for the trip and the walk. The way it envelopes the countryside and mountains of the area is a sight to behold. It's a good pull up... More

The view is amazing, you can see the wall running along the top of the hilly country with gatehouses situated at various intervals. The climb here is very hard with steep some steep inclines and steps of various heights. Our guide said hundreds of thousands of workers died building the wall and were buried within the wall

I was not able to climb that so steep, I just made it to the 1st station because it's so cool and windy but so great experience.

Less touristy than I expected... For a change. Loved the picturesque scenery despite the very cold temperature. Very glad to have come to this place. Another one of my Bucket list crossed off.

We visited in November 2016, we expected temperatures of minus 2 degrees, but were really lucky that it was about 7 degrees, so that you could take a layer off once you warmed up from walking. From the bus car park you can go left up the really steep section, or right up the longer section of Wall, which by... More

My husband and I visited the Great Wall at Juyong Gaun Pass, as part of our Nexus Holiday tour. For us the Great Wall was definitely the highlight of our China trip! The views were amazing and sheer size of the wall was breathtaking! The climb itself was much harder than expected with the steps varying in size and some... More

Visited the Great Wall at Juyong Pass as a part of a tour. All I can say is"spectacular"! We climbed the steep side of the pass which was tough but well worth the effort as the view is breathtaking. I couldn't recommend this for those with health issues as the climb is taxing.

It was drizzling when I was there, but it still felt special. It's the Great Wall !! The climb up was tiring but the journey down was tougher on your knees, as the steps was uneven and quite high from step to step. But it was a great feeling, visiting the Great Wall of China and checking that box off... More
