This is a nice place to wander around for an hour or so. Watching and stroking giant turtles, saying hi to the hippo, snakes, giraffes close up is exciting for the visitor.

They do not let you feed the giraffes anymore. Apparently its due to Covid protocols. However, the area where you stand to watch the rangers feed the giraffes is jam packed anyway.
We were rather disappointed at this aspect, especially my overseas guest who had been looking forward to this for the best part of a week!
The hippo feeding is average. The 2 hippos look very very well fed! Was nice to see that the hippos have a huge area to graze in and a big pond too.
The crocodile feeding was the best out of the 3. But they only feed them 3 pieces of chicken legs. My guest actually ate more than that more dinner.
Overall its a nice attraction. Various improvements can be made. For example you cannot see into any of the snake enclosures to due to the glare on the glass from the sun. A better design would have been ideal here.
The giant tortoises and waterbucks were pleasant to see. My guest even enjoyed hugging the giant tortoises even though they are probably riddled with ticks!

Great place to visit, the main part is like a zoo in a rain forest - you can see giraffes, hippos, turtles, crocodiles, snakes plus there is a butterfly pavilion. Some of the animals can be meet when walking through the park, fortunately not the crocodiles. They do feeding shows for the visitors, but mostly in the afternoon, so we didn’t have a chance to see one.
Entrance fee can be paid only in KES or with M-Pesa. Take water and snacks with you, there wasn’t place to buy any when we visited.
There is one entrance Google doesn’t show - not far from Nyali Mall.

The place was good for walks. If you are an animal lover you should probably plan first..they have a specific time for feeding the animals that way you'll be able to see them up close...there are giraffes and crocodiles.. the animals aren't alot though

We visited with Shikeli from Holaa Safari as part of a full day tour of Mombasa City in the morning & Haller Park in the afternoon.
The surprises that await you inside are amazing & such a beautiful setting. There are opportunities to see the giraffes , hippos , eland , buffalo , crocodiles being fed , in the afternoon from 3pm. With some covid rules in place guests were not allowed to feed the giraffes personally as happened in the past. They still come very close to eat & are quite comfortable with people. There are various paths to follow to see the yellow/albino crocodiles , a few tortoises over 100yrs old & huge , a butterfly sanctuary , a pen with a few rehabilitated animals , a number of fish tanks used for breeding & selling & a reptile park with many of the really venomous snakes. Different guides took us around . The highlight is clearly the feeding times from Potty & Sally the hippos to the vicious crocodiles who by the way do get fed at other times & what you see is really for show . Haller Park has many trails & is in a really beautiful setting

Sorry we just walked:) It was worth of half day walking around.
Your website says entry fee for residents is 200 for adults and 100 kids. Was so disappointed and shocked when we visited the place on saturday only to be told that its 500 per adult and my son who is 14 years was also to pay 500. Kindly review your costings as this is misleading.

Just do is my mgeni did : walk away. Only that way they'll learn I suppose.... The restauarant isn't there anymore AND you have to BU plastic bags with food for the giraffes ?! WHere there used to be a bucket full which you could use, becaiuse you paid entrance fee already....
It's deteriorated dramattically over the years........................

Non il n'y a pas d éléphant dans le parc. ..On ne mourrit pas un éléphant comme une girafe. .c est un animal qui peut être dangereux. .
Vous en verrez si vous faites un safari. ..sans pour autant les nourrir. ..
Nous ne sommes pas au cirque. .
