Great place for gifts to take back home

Best place i found in Nairobi for quality gifts to take back home. Set in an old house that has a nice courtyard with laid back cafe.

We are in Nairobi after a safari and needed to get some gifts for people back home. This was the place! We found affordable but well made gifts for everyone on our list. They had fun jewelry, art, kitchen gift items as well as different animal items from what you find everywhere else. Great little place! Plus, they packed it... More

This place was a pleasant surprise. It's very nicely laid out in a old house with a very cool courtyard-coffee shop. For anyone looking for souvenirs (textiles, books, masks, furniture, small magnets) I will highly recommend visiting spinners web. The place is pricey and you can probably get lower quality but similar products outside - but if you have limited... More

Perhaps this is the place to find the better quality and more authentic staff. A good selection and variety without the hassle and poignant pressure from unscrupulous vendors. An oasis in Nairobi with a quaint coffe shop in the middle of it all

Spinners web is filled with Kenyan handicraft. Textile, wood, metal and other materials. Decorarional items and things for daily use. Feel free to stroll and look around without somebody stressing you to buy. We are regular guests here! Oh, by the way! The small cafe served delocious carrot cake!!!

This shop is an oasis from the bustling city, with several rooms to showcase different artisans and their crafts. They also offer refreshments in their courtyard.

This shop carries loads of high quality goods. Prices are higher than what you buy at a market but still reasonable. Great live jazz. Coffee is mediocre.

I enjoyed a leisurely lunch in the cafe, making use of the free wifi when I had a free day in Nairobi while the friend I was visiting was working. The smoothie was very good. I bought some jewellery, shoes and chocolates - products appear to be good quality and it is a pleasant place to spend a couple of... More

10+ rooms filled with textiles, clothes, baskets, handicraft from all over Africa, secondhandbooks, ceramics, glass, masai jevellery..... Even if I'm here at least once a month, I get surprised finding new things all the time. There is a cafeteria in the courtyard - nice atmosphere. When its time to pay - try to avoid if there is a queue -... More

Spinners Web is loaded with an impressive variety of crafts, gifts, clothes and furniture. Prices are not the lowest in town, but quality is radically above average. You'll also find a little coffee/tea house in the heart of the area. Take your time, enjoy and devote at least two hours - because you and spinners web are worth it!
