Great tour

The island is very beautiful with plenty of great sea food. The people are friendly and welcoming. The bout ride around the island is amazing.

This was a great day trip to the reef near Wasini Island with lunch on the island and a short guided tour of the village and coral garden. We chose to go scuba diving off the boat (the others went snorkeling) and saw all the fantastically-coloured fish swimming by. The day trip included transport from the hotels to the island... More

loved every bit of it, ialso liked that i supported the local tourism market by having meals at the local hotel , purchased hand crafted items from the locals. Kisite marine park was everything i had imagined it would be like and more

Our trip started from Diani resort and took us about 1 h and 15 min to reach the dock point, where a local boat was waiting for the tourists. We sailed for 1 h towards an island where we did some diving and snorkling. If you are seasick, reconsider this trip. I didn't know I was, until I was on... More

We went for a day trip to Wasini Island, the coach took us to the other-side of Mombasa and we saw a lot of Kenya on our travels. We then got on a small boat,we were about 12 people and went in search of dolphins. We saw a brief glimpse but didn't swim with them so we were a bit disappointed. The... More

Since the trip to Shimoni takes 4 to 5 hours and can be quite tiring, its good to leave Mombasa very early in the morning or a day before if you wish to make the most of your visit. Also, one requires a good amount of time for the marine park visit.

We where a familey of three myself, my husband, and our twenty three year old grandaughter. They crew of the Dhow we where on started by saying they could not say for sure that we would see dolphins the main reason for the trip. To our delight when the crew moored the boat once out on the reefs the dolphins... More

This review is not for the island itself, but for the snorkeling trip to Kisite as well, as a package. I went with Steve and Richard Safaris on a day trip from Mombasa. It was a very simple set up - they take you to the simple jetty where a small boat that fits about 20 people leaves to the... More
