Found this by chance and am so glad I did, it's breathtakingly beautiful and the carvings and depictions are outstanding , even to the sacred pool still being there. Just down from the Rasmussen, it's definitely worth a visit

It is a little off the course of the regular tour, but if you get a chance you must visit. Sit between the huge columns and imagine how marvelous life was in the ancient world.

If you have some extra time, this is a pleasant oasis but it is relatively sparse and a little off the beaten tourist track.

If you want to feel the ancient Egypt, you must visit temples, and I can say that Temple of Seti I is one of the best temple. Great place to visit, a lot of historic and archaeological values are hidden.
