The temple of Karnak is impressive when lit up at night but the long winded sound show is rather boring and the images projected on the ruins get lost in translation. Not worth the time and effort to stay through the 60-70 minute show.

It is as simple as that - do not miss the light show if you are in Luxor. It gives a different perspective and is quite memorable.

Admittedly I enjoy Sound and Light shows, so I found this to be well done, colorful and interesting. It's a little spooky and great fun to wander around Karnak at night! Do this!

The sound and light sow is very touristy. I would not recommend it. It is highly recommended that those attending have a flashlight app or a flashlight. The ground is uneven. It was interesting to see at night but not worth the show.

Mah a bit rubbish and slightly boring. Only good thing was being in the temple at night which gave it a more imposing feeling

Karnak by day is spectacular but by night it opens its secrets. The hot breeze and shadows bring forward the ghosts and glory of Karnak. We were nearly not going to go because we saw the light show in Cairo which although good was a...More

Skip it unless you enjoy overly dramatic slide shows. Super dramatic music and actors talking. Some of the slides were used multiple times...they didn't even spend enough to have unique slides for each part of the presentation. Too long, too campy.

A good show but second place to the pyramids' sound and light show. Considerably more walking involved.
