My wife and I recently returned from a trip to Egypt in which we took a three-day cruise on the Omar El Khayam traveling from Abu Simbel to Aswan. We were both very favorably impressed with this ship. Our cabin was reasonably spacious and kept...More
The Jaz Omar el Khayham cruise ship is no longer,in my opinion, as described in the company website or as described on google websites. The drawbacks are perhaps individually minor but add up to a lower quality cruise than I paid for or expected.
Our group of 22 cruised this November. The cruise was one of the highlights of our trip to Egypt. The ship was well run, the staff were outstanding, and the dining was excellent. I just wish we could have had a little longer before we...More

Are there any guaranteed Lake Nasser cruises, taking in Abu Simbel? Wild Frontiers were supposed to be running a Lake Nasser trip for new year - but both the this year's one and last year's one were cancelled due to lack of interest.
Am planning a trip to Egypt early 2017 - to include a 'fly & flop' to the Red Sea - but would like to choose dates to encompass a Lake Nasser cruise from Aswan to Abu Simbel.
