The view over Cairo was beautiful. The mosque history very interesting. Inside be prepared for lots of pigeon poop on the rugs, you will be removing your shoes. Do not book with Travel discount, save money by flying to Egypt and booking tours with Blue Sky tours.

If you're a woman, be sure to bring a scarf to cover your head in respect. This gorgeous mosque is worth the trip up the hill.
