It is like an outside museum so I wouldn't recommend wearing your good shoes that you would mind getting sand on. It's a great experience to see the history there and it's cheap to go.

Located in teh open air museum you will see this impressive Sphinx. It's 80 tons. The ancient area, Memphis, is surrounded by groves of palms.

Memphis museum doesn´t show the importance of the old capital of Egypt but the Sphinx and the colossos of Ramses II are very interesting.
