One of the oldest places in Egypt. Has been built by the pharos with lots of engineering details. This one with the other three buildings you will find all what you want.

The sakkara pyramids give an insight about the rich culture that existed thousands of years back in Egypt. They are not as much visited as the Giza pyramids, but are worth a visit.

Loved Saqqara last time but now it has scaffolding all over it so very disappointed. I wouldn't bother if scaffolding still in place.

This is the oldest Pyramid. We didn't go inside it as there was scaffolding all over due to the renovation work going on which will take about 2- 3 years to complete.

One more very famous Pyramids of Cairo. Not as great and enjoyable as Giza & Sphinx. Might find lesser crowd here.

They are close enough so that you can do both on the same day, but the street market and museum would be more interesting than Sakkara. Sakkara has the oldest pyramid but currently it is being repaired. You could... More
