This is a must visit for local tour in Cairo. Only thing is it will close a bit early like 4:30 - 5:00 in the evening so make sure you visit this before that time.

One of the best views is from the Cairo Tower, located on Gezira Island (Zemalak) just north of Opera house and the Museum of Modern Art (which is also very much worth a visit), which provides a panoramic vision of Cairo. This 187 meter tall tower, in the form of a latticework tube that fans out slightly at the top,... More

Great view, but expensive and for a very short time. Max 15 min and you are done. No discounts for students. Restaurant up expensive and not that wow for the value of the money u pay. Better to visit Chillis next to by the Nile. But in a nice sunny day chance to get nice pictures from above.

Even if you are going to the revolving restaurant they charge you admission, which is kind of not fair........but it's worth the visit. The restaurant is good not great but you come here for the views not the food. The waiters were real sweethearts. I didn't bring enough cash, so they took my credit card but we had to go... More

It's 187 meters and from there you can see the pyramids as small as a finger knuckle. It's like 6 levels, each is equivalent to 10 regular levels. It also has a rotating restaurant open at 9 p.m. could be a romantic place too 😉😅

The views of Cairo and the pyramids from the top make a visit to the tower worthwhile. However, the entry price of 150 EGP seems overly steep for what is necessarily a brief stay (much more expensive than archaeological sites such as Giza). The tower is within walking distance (about 15 minutes) of the Egyptian Museum so it could provide... More

I have visited Cairo many times but never took the time to visit Cairo Tower but finally did it this time. I was so sad that I haven't visited this breathtaking place before. Very well organized and clean, the Panorama has a view to die for. The Tower has 62 floors, a 360 degrees rotating restaurant and a beautiful Lebanese... More
