The place is a great historic one where it takes you in a different time makes you wonder how such a big construction was built nearly everything is kept as it was centuries before it was really enjoyable and fun

Visited the Roman Amphitheatre, Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa (must visit) and Citadel of Qaitbay-the origional site of the Alexandria Lighthouse. Guide was thoroughly knowlegeable of all locations. Would highly recommend and it was a pleasure to be in his company. Great day.

yes u can buy the ticket very easily in the entrance and explore the big compound at your own. u can spend like 3/ 4 hours easily seeing the masjid, museum walking along the old citaldel. just check the opening and closing... More
