We did a 7 day Nile cruise (Luxor - Aswan - Luxor) in May 2017. Just sit and watch the scenery slide by. Water buffalo, cows, goats - rarely a camel - plus the bird life and people washing the dishes in the river - always interesting and always relaxing. This was our fifth visit and it will not be... My first trip down the Nile was in 2006 and I have now been 5 times. It really is a wonderful experience. The Nile is an amazing river just to sit on your floating hotel and see the fantastic landscape which has not changed for centuries.

This was supposed to be a five star ship and it most certainly was not any where near, even when compared to five star hotels in Egypt. On joining the ship it was disappointing to find that the ship docks away from the main area of the town where most of the other ships are and instead it is at... More

We were exhausted when we arrive to Egypt and we needed a place to see and relax. We've been directed to this place and we were amazed with the experience we had. We rent a boat to ride on just for 1 hour and it was really nice. Great to see the Nile River.

Good ship for 2 nights...started aswan ended luxor. Best part is the sliding window for viewing of the nile from the room. Food was average...they tried their best. Service is below average. Rooms are nice but cleanliness is below mark. The deck and pool are standard for all nile cruise ships.

The Blue Shadow was a very well appointed cruise ship...new, clean ...icing on the cake. We enjoyed our 4 days, very much. We cruised from Luxor to Aswan, it was very restful. Dining room offered many choices for all meals...might suggest a little more seasonings....food was somewhat bland. Our room was on the 3 Rd floor...we Loved It!

The most amazing cruise experience ever - When booking a cruise, the boat's facilities are an important factor but you also want to know that you're getting the best of the best of everything (food, tour guides, hospitality, scheduling, drivers, etc.) and that trust was established on Day 1 of the cruise. The staff felt like family and the boat... More

I stayed aboard the MS Emilio for four nights including the actual cruise of about two days between Luxor and Aswan. My cabin was spacious, well maintained and clean with a private toilet, shower and bath. Service was attentive, prompt and friendly. The food was average although always freshly prepared. Mealtimes differed daily. Swimming pool and open deck (with shade... More

We wanted to book a "once in a lifetime" experience of a cruise along the Nile. Our contact at Discover Egypt recommended the 7 night sailing on the MS Mayfair and we were delighted with the experience. The tour mixed periods of activity visiting the various sites that the boat called into, with periods of relaxation on the sun deck.... More

A weeks cruise along the Nile in March was absolutely fantastic. We booked the trip direct with Cyplon Holidays who were very helpful from start to finish and answered my many questions fully. When we arrived in Egypt we found we were the only two passengers with Cyplon, so had transport and guide to ourselves each day. Each morning there... More
