It is very difficult to put the value of this Memorial into words. Perhaps it is too personal, and thereby subjective. Advice: go early, commit at least 1/2 day, take your time, and enjoy.

This place is awesome. It was really cool to see all the planes, tanks and boats. Such interesting history and seeing the actual boat that had bullet holes in it from the most recent run in with North Korea was fascinating

You can take the subway and alight at Samgakji Station (Seoul Subway Line 6), Exit 11 or 12. It should be a few walks away from the exit.

It will be held at 2 PM on 26th May and 3 PM on 27th May. It also will be held at afternoon on 5th May (Children's day). But it could be canceld if there is a rain.
