We spent a morning wandering around the cobbled streets marveling at some of the old architecture and the streets lined with cafes. Well worth a couple of hours at least

This is the main tourist area in Tbilisi, quant cobblestoned streets line with nice cafes and bars. Great ambience.

It is very fun to walk around, a lot of sites, views, shops and restaurants. The walk is a little hilly, a good pair of shoes is necessary.

Old town is pretty. It is the old part of Tbilisi and very touristy. It is a must visit, and sure you will because it is the most popular in Tbilisi. It has alot of restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, tour offices and so on. It is also very traditional.

Make no mistake, Alstadt is definitely full of tourists (thus, things are priced accordingly). However, walking around the old town is a must when you visit Tbilisi. If nothing else, it's a great walk. There is lots to see and explore - old alleys and old buildings. I enjoyed my time walking around the old city (eventually ending up at... More

In the old town you have a lot of restaurants, bars and nice buildings in the tourist trail. Try also to go outside this trail to look at how people here live and to see the charm of the old houses.

After World War II the street was renamed in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union, General Constan-tine Leselidze. In 2007 the street was again renamed in honor of one of the leaders of National-liberation... More
