Sule Pagoda is the main junction for traffic in Yangon. Around it, many other religious buildings. It is showing Yangon is very colorful with diverse culture and traditions. Sule pagoda is surrounded by two major roads in downtown Yangon. It is next to the city hall, adjacent with a park, a Church and a Mosque.

This is a beautiful pagoda with typical architecture. All of the pagoda was plated with real gold to make it look so shinny.

Go up the stairs, take off your shoes (don’t do this when it is hot), tourists pay Ky 4000. There are several small and one large pagoda. It is surrounded on the bottom floor by interesting fortune tellers or astrologers. It is an interesting interlude.

one of the Yangon pagodas, with an entrance fee of 3000 MMK. if you only had time to visit one, would suggest the more majestic Shwedagon Pagoda, with an entrance fee of 10000 MMK.
