We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon here with excellent snorkelling, including the underwater post office. It is also a great location to find a place on the stony foreshore and enjoy a chilled beer watching the beautiful scenery

Large numbers of colourful fish, coral healthy and beautiful colours. Does not have same degree of bleaching as Great Barrier Reef, so it was so nice to see pink, blues, yellow coral again. Easily accessible for young children, enhanced by pontoons. A fabulous experience.

Lovely spot to enjoy lunch and snorkel beside the reef at low tide and over it at high tide. The fish were magnificent and coral to die for.

Hideaway Island another beauty. Do yourself a favour and get flippers to post letters. We were told if your a string swimmer you won't need them. But you def do. Good fun tho

Nice and relaxing. Great snorkelling. Feel like you're really away from the hustle and bustle and just lost on an island.

Was well worth the visit - really great snorkeling, the coral is trying to grow back but there is still a lot of dead stuff, however the abundance of fish is amazing - like swimming in an aquarium. The underwater post office was a great...More

Shouldn't cost you more than 1000 Vatu per person one way for a bus or you're definitely paying foreigner prices. It costed me 300 Vatu to get from the middle of port Vila to hideaway via bus.
