The Etpison is a small museum, but provides an excellent presentation of not only Palauan culture, but also regional culture. The gift shop is quite large and used to sell more locally made items, but has more recently shifted to mostly imported items which is...More

Etipson Museum has wonderful photography explaining the lives and customs of traditional people in Palau. The museum itself is elegant (don't miss the bathroom). TIP: Museum Admission is cash only ($10). The huge and fancy Gift Shop takes credit cards of course.

This is a nice little museum with a very nice gift shop. $10 entrance fee. There is good information on birthing and post-natal care as well as navigation techniques. Also has a very nice shell display. Worthwhile stop.

This museum focuses more on the cultural history of Palau and the South Pacific islanders, with many examples of storyboards, canoes, and traditional Micronesian navigation techniques.
