Fabulous place. Stayed two nights. Swam with turtles. Only food available was at the escapade and very expensive (as is all food in New Caledonia!) must see.

We made a day trip to this very pretty little island intent on snorkelling and a casual lunch and drinks. The trip over and back is pleasant, the food was good and abundant. We sampled several dishes and we're pleased. The highlight was the snorkelling....More

Already been to Duck island before, I was always intrigued with the long island at the back so upon arrival at the ship terminal, we booked a Hop-On Hop-Off ticket afro the Lyvai transport company to get to the taxi boat terminal at Anse Vata...More

Just a short drive by the shuttle boat, this atoll offers tranquillity and test just in front of the Bussy Noumea. One of the best spot for kite surfing. Escapade resort proposes beautiful and comfy bungalows on the island, or on the clear waters of...More

Lovely place for snorkelling. Very Private and quiet Island. We took the bottom glass boat which is after the water taxi stand. It was CFP2500 p/p. You can rent snorkel gear for $5.

I think most of the cruises have buses for transport around the area. Take the bus to Bay de Citron and a water taxi from there. The water taxi is 15 min from the port.

A day on the island is enough, particularly if you don't like sitting around doing nothing physical. We had a long lunch with drinks and a swim in the pool to sober up a bit. If you like eating, get into the buffet.
