We uses this as a meeting place on our trip. It is a lovely place to sit down and have your lunch and get some shade under the palm trees.

This large esplanade is only worth having a look for its spectacular high palm trees, its fountain and its kiosk, which all date from over a century. It looks artificial and does not blend into the Caledonian life.

Beautiful park in the centre of the city where locals meet. Some nights there are lively local food stalls and entertainment where people meet, eat together and linger. A great way to taste local New Caledonian lifestyle and join in.
