Go over the bridge and you are in old downtown. You get a great view of the river as you pass over the bridge.

the path along the river is beautiful. I ran it daily. The park is quiet. There is very little traffic. I could start in the city and run into the cornfields.

Yes, it's just a bridge, but at night it's so beautiful. When we entered town the other night, the bridge was lit up red with moving lights and it was SO beautiful!

The bridge was finished in 2012 and can be seen from the nearby Riverfront Park. I would not recommend pedestrians cross the bridge. It is also intended for bicycles but use extreme caution as this is a small town unaccustomed to such activities.

Since we had no interest in crossing the river on a raft, we took the bridge. Nice bridge! It got us to the other side of the river!! But its a bridge, for God's sake! Not too exciting!!
