The place (Manzana de La Rivera) is clean and nice with a good café. It has a wonderful view to the Government Palace. But Casa Viola was closed a Friday in visiting hours!

The complex is a a poorly renovated old house. There is really no reason why to come here. The exhibition in the other houses might be worth 5min of your time, but probably not more.

This is a bar/museum that is located directly in front of the Governmental Palace. At night they light up the palace which leaves the view from the bar incredible to see. Nice to enjoy a couple of drinks with friends! The food isn't so great...More

Casa Viola is one of the few well kept and well exploited national landmarks in Asuncion. Though the building dates back to the colonial period, it is kept in excellent condition. Today, it doubles as an art gallery and a café-bar.

This is one of the oldest places in Asunción, but it's a beautiful one, it has a theater, a museum about the city history, a lovely courtyard and a wonderful bar! I highly recommend to the travelers to go there, everyday there's something going on...More
