Worth it to go. We went just before sunset around 4.30pm, seeing the city lights come to life. Cold though!!

You have to go here when you go to Bogota. Although I clicked "yes" on the question "Is this location a solemn or serious place?" that is only partly true. Of course, in the church respect is expected, outside at the market and in the restaurants its a different story.

The Mount is a must do in Bogota... please don't miss it. There's an amazing view from up there and excellent options for lunch or simply having a walk. In my case it was cloudy, but worth going up.

This tourist attraction has existed for years; try to go up in the cable cart and come down on the train but during the weekdays they only open up the cable cart after noon; if you have problems walking, don't go; there are lots of stairs and steep inclines; the place could use maintenance but acceptable; the best is the... I love, love, love Monserrate. A must see in Bogota, close by to La Candelaria district the views from there are breathtaking. Take the cable car up as it has better views than the funicular!!

This is not only a touristic attraction. As a citizen of Bogota, I have been there at least 20 times and I never get tired of the beautiful view!

Soak in some incredible views of the city high atop the mountain. I took the train up to the top and spent a couple hours walking around and admiring the incredible views of Bogota. There are also some decent nicer restaurants and lots of small food booths and shopping vendors to peruse.

It has the best view of Bogota, the place is nice and well maintained, the cafe and the restaurant are romantic, I think you have to go at least once.

Thank Juan M
