Weekly, Bogota shuts down 18 linear miles of busy streets so people can run, ride bikes, and get out and enjoy the city. My city, San Antonio, also has a Siclovia twice a year. Great, though, to see where it all began.

Rent a bike and find a main road and explore! It is really cool as you see families, teens, and elders biking down throughout the city. Really cool experience.

Nice atmosphere, relax and amicable. Everyone, locals and tourists just spend their morning outside, enjoying shows at parks and yummy street food.

Excellent idea! Must have your own bike. Subperb way to see the city. Go early in thr morning. Bring a hat, water and sunscreen. Relatively safe. Tie up your bike when you stop to eat. Lots of activities happening on different stops.

Hola, There is no set route or tour on the Ciclovía, all lanes go both ways so it is very versatile. You can go as far as you like and then head back when you know you are going to run out of time. I suggest you pick a spot... More
