I was there on a weekday. Many Bolivians came to take a look at the palast and surroundings. No One could tell me, why the clock on top of the building was running backwards, some said that the president wants to contradict everyone.... Beautiful scenery...More

Walked up to the Government palace, through streets that were barricaded by the military. There were protestors camped in the streets near the palace and the military kept the streets blocked to stop them getting close. We were obviously tourists and walked past the scary...More

It's worth some pictures when you're on the Plaza Murillo. The building looks nice next to a ruinous building with broken windows.

Plenty to see and eat at the connected Plaza to the Palace. Try the Saltena's or just have a seat and watch the world go bye.

Fun to look at. It's architecture is almost European. Very different from other buildings that you see in La Paz. Not sure if there are tours, but pretty from the outside. You can see it from Plaza Murillo.

It's an okay building for the Government Palace. Not the grandest place but still nice for a photo op.

Very nice colonial building. The best thing I did was sitting down with pigeon-feeding people in the plaza and enjoying the scene.

I am sure that this is one of the most photographed buildings in La Paz. And deservredly so. The color of the facade is outstanding, particularly when the sun hits the edifice.

Located in the central square, it really does not stand. the cathedral catty corner from it is more impressive.
