Great experience- there is a small admission fee. I've never seen anything like this- you need to check it out. The mountains in the background make the pictures amazing.

Enjoyed an hour here walking around and enjoying the scenery, the first thing thzt grabbed me was the quiet after a few days of the traffic and hustle and bustle of La Paz it was actually a welcome relief. Easy to get to by bus.

fantastic place, very easy to get here by taxi (and very cheap); we spent there more then 2 hours to investigate all places and make photos; it's better to visit in the morning otherwise the sun would burn you; take sunblock cream with you and...More

This is a site that you would expect to see in the US Southwest. Yet here it is in the city of La Paz. There is a choice of trails through the area. They are well laid out. Very impressive. We loved it.

Amazing place to see the effect of erosion over tens of thousands of years, the shapes in the clay will leave u fascinated. Recommended to everyone visiting La Paz, and easy to get there with the public transport.

This was a real find in the middle of a big sprawling busy city. Unique landscape and great city views make for a great place to go visit. Was also great to see this part of the city that is away from the bustling center.

You can't miss it! Being in La Paz and not going to the Valley of the Moon is like going to a Pizza restaurant and not eat pizza. It's a close ride from the city and will not take you more than 2 hours to...More

The valley of the moon has dirt rock formations that are appropriate to it's name. After walking in just a few feet in the trails you lose sight of civilization and without trails would get easily lost as walking around where the riverbeds would be...More

Very few dogs around- but apart from at the ticket booth, didn't see any officials around - so doubtful they would even notice if one is subtle.

There is really no need for a guide. There are two clearly marked trails of 15 and 45 minutes and the entire walk is in a fenced area so is totally safe. A taki from La Paz should cost you 40 Bs. You will have to catch a... More
