Typical tourist would not find much interesting displays in here. They have all the basic stuff, which is similar to most museum around the world. They do have a special showcase, which should be better than general displays.

Very close to Major Hotels from Abu Dhabi city. Pre-book your ticket on line. The staff at the Louvre are polite and friendly in answering your questions. The Roof of the building is one of a kind. A must visit when you are in Abu Dhabi.

I went there a few days ago and I just wanted to say that I liked it, it wasn’t too bad but when I did nothing wrong, staff tried to stop me. It was short and quite tiring but I enjoyed looking at the pottery and artworks and monuments. But what really made my day was the blank dark blue large painting and the random cupboard on display, we couldn’t stop laughing so I absolutely enjoyed it.

I love art, ancient ruins, history and great coffee. All these I find in a place where works of people from the olden times meet the modern man to witness and marvel. The Louvre Abu Dhabi is both an art and civilization museum located in the Saadiyat Island Cultural District in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. With approximately 260,000 sq ft in size and 86,000 sq ft of galleries, this makes the Louvre the largest art museum in the Arabian Peninsula. The Louvre in itself is a work of art that took a decade in the making and the Abu Dhabi branch of Paris’s famous museum cost nearly $1.4 billion and the design was inspired by the Pritzker-winning French architect, Jean Nouvel whose creation was a monumental masterpiece that looks like as if the future has landed-just see for yourself when you visit. Outside activity is still limited to kayaking around the Louvre where you get to enjoy the sun and sea rowing your way to the Arabian Gulf. Unlike on my first visit here, we have enjoyed a festival of live performances and even got an opportunity to take a photograph with the actors and actress. But now, in response to the current health situation, Louvre Abu Dhabi focused on the safety and well-being of its visitors and their staff hence strict safety measures are in-place once you entered the premises of the museum and live performances were put into a halt. Experience Egyptian mummy, Roman architecture, sculptures and medieval artifact, view a selected passage from the oldest bible, feast your eyes to various jewelries, trinkets, tapestry, dinnerware, pottery and a lot more. Enjoy Louvre in guided tours or you can go without and immerse yourself with the rich and diverse experience as you explore the artwork collections of renowned international artist not only that, they also have an exclusive gallery for the modern art and a separate space for the children to enjoy the museum. After an hour or two of walking, reading and photography I indulged myself to the Museum Café and enjoyed a relaxing dining experience as they offer a blend of distinct Emirati and European flavors. They also offer special menus that are designed to complement their temporary exhibitions. Truly a wonderful experience to visit once you arrived in Abu Dhabi. I love it.

"It's a lifetime opportunity to visit the Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi", I was telling that to my friends when I am asking them to accompany me to visit it during the pandemic. We reserved a ticket online through their website. It is a huge museum with enormous arts all over the world. Imagine visiting France louvre here in Abu Dhabi. The architectural was superb, to the fact that it is the largest museum in the arabian peninsula. The patterned dome was really the highlight...overall this huge museum that giving you an access to the worlds ancient and modern art with this one of a kind of interior designing is really a lifetime opportunity to experience.
