Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I went to this area around 8 PM when the weather became a bit cooler. Very nice area on the banks of the historical Tigris river. You would see people selling books on the streets, local vendors selling ice creams and cool drinks. Extremely nice place to spend a nice quiet evening. I used Careem (local version of Uber) to get in and out of the place from my Hotel. You could get regular cabs too, but one has to have some knowledge of arabic to communicate with them.
There were boat rides there. I did not take it.
One of my Careem drivers - Jassim even had an Arabic to English translator app through which we communicated reasonably well.

If you are in Baghdad even for a day, it’s worth visiting this beautiful street and monument in old Baghdad area.
Starts with a street of bookshops and ends with AlMutanabi monument at the river side.

If you are traveling to Baghdad, it's definitely one of the location you will be visiting. Here you can buy anything on the market, as well as have a snack and take some good pictures. There are a lot of historical places on the street nearby. You can also take a small boat ride from the one rive bank to the other and back.
Please don't confuse Al Rashed street with any other street nearby! Just make your way to Baghdadi Museum, and go from there to Al Rashed street! I ordered a taxi to Al Rashed street, but the driver didn't know where I need to go, and he drove me to a street nearby, probably Al Nehr street. There were nothing, but only closed buildings, people with weapons, and homeless people. Homeless people started to throw trash to our car, and I had no idea how to go from there to the right street! The northern part of the street is much more civil than the southern one, go from north to south on the Al Rashed street, not the other way!
