Golestan Palace is so beautiful that it takes your breath away! rooms that sparkle with thousands of tiny mirrors embeded in the plaster, intricate tile work, and beautiful furnishings that were gifts from governments all over the world.

I really enjoyed the visit to this palace. It is a great historic monument and throw back to a different time in Iran's history. A definite must see when in town.

Forgot to add the exchange rate. At official businesses yesterday it was IRR 42,500 = 1€. I do not how much against USD. Probably somewhere around IRR 39,000 = 1 USD
