I was there in April. Your visit will be complete to see both of the shrine and Bazaar. Mirror working and also silver working are great. If you visit the place with a guide or a local friend from Tehran is better than to go alone.

This place is famous for its bazaar. There are some good restaurants there too. Visit this place to learn more about Iranians and their culture.

We got to this landmark during a religious celebration in Iran and therefore the place was crowded and I think I might have just discovered the real meaning of 'packed like sardines'. However, this only added to the genuineness of the experience. For women, I would suggest very close attention to the attire, I had my hair and upper body... More

I last visited this place with a non muslim, foreign friend and the staff were... More

Shah abdul azim shrine is very famous and respectful for Iranian specially Muslims. We were there for Ashura mourning ceremony there were lots of people praying and mourning Imam hosein. All the carnivals come to the hall and take a round to respect the holy shrine. This is a special day there.

Next to hustle and bustle of tehran there is a speritual landscape with better weather in comparison to tehran. Lots of kebab and things like that can be found here.
