Second Place

Well,it's one of the main attractions of Tehran.for many years, it was the symbol of Tehran the capital. Now ,it stands at the second place. After Milad tower.

Just a short photo stop on the way to the airport. It is well illuminated and looks different! Enjoyed looking at it

Forget Milad tower and come here instead. Azadi tower is something more unique. I believe that this is a modern translation of Persian Architecture. Symmetry, the pattern, the colours symbolize it perfectly. Unfortunately during my visit there were some construction going on so I could not go inside. But observing it fro outside is already good enough.

I went here in Jan 2017. It is very near to Mehrabad Airport and I went straight from the airport. The tower is uniquely built and it takes some time to absorb and admire the uniqueness. There is nothing much to do apart from that, may be just roaming around the tower and clicking pictures, and that's what I did... More

It is a symbolic tower of Tehran. there is a museum below of this tower. Unfortunately this tower is a little bit dirt. it should take better care of.

Well, you've got to see it when you're in Tehran, haven't you. It's often the backdrop for news reporters doing their stuff. Traffic around it is fairly lethal so you risk life and limb getting across the road for a good photo!
