Arabian Sunset Horse Riding & Stable Tour

6 reviews
Ride an Arabian horse in the desert on a Bahrain horseback riding tour, with the option to add traditional Arabic snacks and a costumed photo session. Desert temperatures can be punishing in the middle of the day, but this tour is timed so you can enjoy the cooler air and golden light of the desert at sunset; you’ll have views of the UNESCO-listed Bahrain Fort as the sun drops into the sand.

The direction sign was missing. The tree itself is fine. The site is surrounded by tin shacks that one would see in Asia, makes Bahrain look like a third world country. Back in the early ‘70’s this desert was clean and empty, beautiful, now it looks terrible. To get there one passes what looks like chaos, no planning, shacks everywhere. The desert has lost its tranquility.

I was interested in finding out why the name "tree of life" not much I gathered, it's a bit far from the city nice place to just go on a road drive, went two times with friends, it's not bad just a tree in the middle of a 🏜️ desert,

I am glad I did not have to pay to see this site. The tree was covered in graffiti, there was trash in the boughs on the ground and human defecation in the sand around the tree. All while someone was trying to pass off plastic power rangers watches as rare Rolex's. I have been to Bahrain over 20 times and never saw anything there as as disgusting as this.

On my first visit in December 2019,I went alone on a private tour. There was no one else there and I felt at one with this lone tree in the middle of the desert. This trip I was with a group and unfortunately there were so many other tours and crowds of people, it felt like we were swarming (desecrating) this ancient marvel. How it survives for hundreds of years without any water source is a msytery. There is actually a learning center with historical posters and information and facts about the tree and surrounding area.
