Located in the heart of manama, the white building is a traditional souq or market. The U-shaped two-story building is well maintained and there is a fountain in front of the main entrance. Inside the souq, you have all kinds of shops selling spices, clothes and other traditional items. The souq itself is not air-conditioned but some of the shops are.
