One of the most beautiful mosques in Manama, Bahrain. They arrange organized tour for visitors with special attention to ladies by providing appropriate clothing. Very much informative & great architectural design.

The mosque is built on a large piece of land. It's very spacious and beautiful. I was there for Friday prayer last weekend and it was my first time visiting Al-Fatih Mosque. But despite so many people converging toward it at the same time, traffic kept moving steadily and there is sufficient parking available. It is well-maintained and walking around... More

Look big from outside but inside is not as big as I expect. Simple decoration nothing special compare to other grand mosque in middle east. Free entrance fee, free guide tour. Provide different launguge documents and book at the reception for visitor. My guide was great in explaining but likes to discuss and judge other beliefs which I think it's... More

The ladies at the Mosque graciously loaned out abayas to the women in my grouo and helped us put them on correctly. We had a guide who showed us the Mosque and answered an array of questions about their beliefs and the architecture. The Mosque is grand, but it retains a sense of the sacred. It was definitely a highlight... More

This is the second time I've visited the Great Mosque. They do a really good tour - led by a guide. Ladies are given the appropriate clothing in order to go into the main mosque. The tour is interesting & informative. Some lovely things to check out inside- beautiful chandelier, niche, windows etc. Informative & lovely architecture.

The masjid is amazing and well taken care of. It is quite big and the decoration is nice. The Imam their is famous and for sunnah group only. It has a special library for islamic books and you can look for fatwa.

After living in Bahrain for over 7 years I finally took my mum and sister on a visit to the Grand Mosque. After dressing in thobe and abiyas we were then escorted by an extremely knowledgeable ladly tour guide. We were even lucky enough to be present at prayer time and were allowed to wacth quietly from the balcony. We... More

We visited it on a Thursday, the guide was great. The fiberglass dome weighs 47 tons the chandelier weighs 3.5 tons. A lot of imported tiles and marble. The place holds 2,000.

This is a beautiful mosque to visit. Definitely worth it. You can have a free guided tour of the mosque where extremely friendly locals will explain everthing about the mosque, the islam, their way of life etc. An authentic cultural experience that cannot be missed.
