Arabian Sunset Horse Riding & Stable Tour

Ride an Arabian horse in the desert on a Bahrain horseback riding tour, with the option to add traditional Arabic snacks and a costumed photo session. Desert temperatures can be punishing in the middle of the day, but this tour is timed so you can enjoy the cooler air and golden light of the desert at sunset; you’ll have views of the UNESCO-listed Bahrain Fort as the sun drops into the sand.

I have 7hrs layover in Bahrain and I picked the National musuem to visit. It cost 7dinar taxi from the airport to the museum without the meter. (I later realised Uber is less than half the price of it). The reception at the musuem let me in early before the opening time. He even kindly gave me 1dinar when I didn't have enough cash in hand to get back to the airport. Thank you. I spent 3.5 hours in the musuem incl. the cafe. There were lots to see if you are interested in their history. The architect of the building isn't that great like some would say.

This is a delightful surprise for a national museum. Currently there’s a fabulous Bahrain art exhibit at both twin sites of the national museum and the adjoining theatre. Once inside there’s so many exhibits to choose from. The dinosaur exhibit was particularly nice with great videos. A pleasure to see!
