The Black Stone is one of the stones of the Ka`bah. Its significance is that it is the only surviving stone from the original structure built by Abraham and Ishmael (peace be upon them both). The Ka`bah had been destroyed and rebuilt many times in its history, even before the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Black... More

What is the story behind the origin of the Black Stone, Hajre Aswat? When was it place by the Kaaba, and by whom? Is it true that it has turned black absorbing the sins of Muslims? According to the Hadith, Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Abbaas (Radhiallaahu Anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, ‘Hajr-e-Aswad (the black stone) was revealed from Jannat... Performed Umrah at 04:00 in the morning best time I think as it was not that crowed. Following day went to do Maghrib prayer and it was quite crowded but didn't matter... More

It's always crowded with people constantly, very hard to go near it. Women I suggest you have your husband brother or father with you. It's sooo tough without someone guarding you. My husband was with me and with his help I managed to kiss the stone

After seeing the Black Stone i really felt something i cant explain. Always recommend worshipers to explore. Yes you will be pushed & shoved and some can also be aggressive but don't retaliate as you are not there cause issues.
