It has an overall view of the city. You may get nice photos. If you visit all, it will take an hour. We visited in May and the weather was perfect to visit, not too hot.

Fantastic view for amman that can be major reason to visit this place .. There is a little museum ana you have to visit roman theatre as well .. taxi cost 3 JD max

From the citadel you have a really phantastic view of Amman. That only can be a reason to visit the place. When it comes to the site itself, I recommend to visit the little museum that exhibits mankinds's old statues (from up 8000 years ago)...More

Not all guide books rate this but it is not to be missed. The old museum is quaint, the various archeological remains of great interest and the view of Amman, old and new, is marvellous
