This area is great for an urban hike, but definitely wear your hiking boots. roads are rough, sidewalks are potholed, you'll step in mud even if it's not raining.

Walking around this place and drink a coffee or take a dinner is lovely in quite atmosphere in the heritage houses of amman A lot of cafes and restaurants around with some sweets shop Recommended

Our hotel was nearby so we visited this area a lot, especially the restaurants and cafés, but also the galleries and shops. In our view it is just as interesting as Rainbow Street (if not more). Enjoyed some great meals in the area.

From the reviews I read I was expecting more, but it is certainly different from downtown Amman. Relaxed vibe around 7-8pm and then the local lads come out around 9pm cruising in their cars with music blaring. Some nice bars and coffee shops, but the area is mainly just a couple of streets and a roundabout. …
