Great Night

Four of us went to Beit Sitti for dinner and cooking class and we had a very good night. We learnt lots and were emailed the recipes which was great. Recommend booking it.

I had a great time cooking one afternoon during my stay in Amman. I was a bit hesitant to head out to Beit Sitti House simply because I was on my own that day, and, well, I am not the most patient cook. But from the start I had a great experience. There happened to be a group from the... More

Beit Sitti is located in a lovely home furnished with period pieces from the owner's grandmother. It was a perfect location to learn about and eat a Jordanian meal. Our knowledgeable and friendly instructor walked us through the steps of making this traditional meal. The entire group participated in its preparation. We had such a fun time learning about food... A cooking class at Beit Sitti is a fun experience. We made some very easy dishes that tasted out of this world good. Maria explains everything clearly from how much ingredients to use to the best way to cut. it a fantastic hands on event.

We were lucky and booked our cooking class the day we called. Maria was super friendly and the cooking class was a lot of fun and informative. I liked how everyone had their own cutting boards and space. I also liked that we all ate together and cooked the meal together as a group, although there were parts of the... More

We highly recommend experiencing Beit Sitti. Our family enjoyed the friendly, knowledgable chefs and the evening very much. Guests help prep the delicious meal, with lively interaction between chefs and guests. Wine by the bottle is available for sale and is very reasonably priced and tasty. The food is delicious, and spices are available for sale too. The host is... More

I learned how to make Ma2louba in a beautifully quaint setting in Jabal Weibdeh in Amman. Lovely expereince. Chef is super friendly and the food we cooked was fabulous! Best part, you get to eat the food you cook at the end.

We love to immerse ourselves in the local culture and food when we visit a country. This cooking class was a great way to do that. The view of Amman at night from the roof top terrace was magical and the food delicious. There were a few large groups and we were a couple travelling independently but it made for... More
