Impressive mosque, different than most of mosques because of it's facade, it is hell of a climb if you walk all the way to reach it, but absolutely worth it.

Unique Design, good location but nothing remarkable for the average tourist. Not sure of it's significance other than it's unique design.

Very beautiful mosque with chess board design. A local told us very interesting story about the mosque about 2 friends one following Islam & the other Christianity. Their disagreement resulted in the building of this mosque as per the local.

Masjed constructed from white and black stones, amazing construction, it is a worship place not a tourist destination, but you can walk around and enjoy the design and the view.

Non-Muslims are generally not permitted inside. Looks nice form the oustid though. Take service taxi 25 or 26 from Italian St in downtown to the mosque, or charter a taxi.

Beautiful place to visit. Has some historical information if you ask. Would go back to pray and visit. Must take your shoes off and appropriate dress is required for prayers.

This is a very beautiful mosque built. It is called Abu Darwish Mosque which means Father of (his son) Darwish. It is a very beautiful mosque just on top of a mountain with a wonderful view over large parts of Amman
