I call it an outdoor mall i'm not sure what else to call it. Shops and restaurants right outside the door. The church is open during the day for you to visit if mass is going on you are only allowed to enter and stand in the back quietly then leave.

We attended Mass (in Spanish) on a Saturday evening prior to going to dinner in a nearby Jaffa restaurant. Service was a standard Mass and the church was nearly full.It sits high above the coast and the surrounding overlooks offer good views of the city and the sea.

We came with a group of mexican tourists to attend Ash Wednesday services, it was very nice, and held in a small chapel from the Crusader period, the guests were taken by the ceremony and place.

This church is adjacent to Kikar Kedumim Square. It is open for visitors and it is indeed a very nice place to stop in for a moment of reflection and prayer. You can also attend masses in a few languages here including Hebrew, Polish, English and Spanish. The church is built in New Spanish Baroque Revival style on top of... More

Saw the inside during the day and was quite impressed by it. The visit at night is more spectacular. Old Jaffa is quite beautiful, especially by nighttime. Highly recommend a visit.

Sunset view outside of the church. With a unique bonding with God, wherever I travel, I always tend to find a quiet small church to pour out my heart before the Holy Father. I recommend this church, because it's not about religion, it's all about HIS loving Presence!

If you are looking for a quiet place to pray, this is not it. It is a tourist attraction. To be sure, it is an important place in Christian history, but it is filled with tourists who only see its historical value, not its spiritual value.

with great history, we were fortunate to walk in on a mass so that made it very interesting, historic and in tune worth the Holy Land theme so to speak
