Some rave about this area, but, honestly, I could not see why. This would not be top of my list to visit. Constantly developing with renewal and improvement amid young Tel Aviv dynamic. Close to the Carmel market, King George street shops, Shenkin street grows in sophistication as you go up towards Rothschild boulevard. The heart of Tel Aviv's thriving scene.

Totaly renewed in the last years we had a nice walk from the Carmel Shuck to Rothshild Bulevard and could admire a good few nice buildings of the white city in bauhaus and international style

This street is a crowded and central street in the city. Overpriced stores and nothing more. Not worth visiting.

We had rented a penthouse apartment on this street over Shabbat weekend and it was so lovely and peaceful. On Saturday morning when we woke up, everything was quiet, none of the construction cranes were working, there were no/very few cars on the street and people seemed to be sleeping in or staying home. I loved it. Later that night,... More

Sheinkin st. used to be spacial in the past but not that much any more. It is not so interesting for tourists since there is not anything unique compare to other similar places in the world or in Tel Aviv.
