The Yitzhak Rabin Center is the official memorial dedicated to the legacy of the late Israeli Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin. This must-see destination in Tel Aviv includes one of Israel’s newest museums, the state-of-the-art Israeli Museum, which is the only one of its kind in the country that explores the history and development of the modern democratic State using the biography of Yitzhak Rabin as a connecting thread. The compelling story of the modern state of Israel, the life of Yitzhak Rabin, along with internationally acclaimed architecture and breathtaking panoramic views of the city from its terraces, make the Yitzhak Rabin Center a must see destination for anyone visiting Israel. It can’t be missed! Tours are offered in English, Hebrew, Arabic, French, Spanish and Russian.

We combined this visit with one to the Palmach Museum which is two minutes walk away. You are provided with an audio guide which automatically gives commentary in the chosen language as you reach a certain point on the tour. You climb a staircase although there is a lift and the Museum is wheel-chair friendly and then walk down a... More

We came with a mixed groups of Israeli and foreigners. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had great English. The visit explained the history and birth of the state of Israel together with the dilemmas we have as a nation. Both Israeli and non - Israeli guests were moved. Highly recommended!!

What an impressive place! You are guided through the recent history of Israel in parallel with the life and influence of Rabin. Events are linked to the general timeline of the world with events we all recognize to place it in history. However the result is not only a history lesson but more importantly one in sensitivity to chains of... More

We just arrived off the plane at 6am from AU (through Thailand) and we were pretty tired, but our first stop was the Yitzhak Rabin Center. Our guide was very informative and helped us understand from a local's perspective of what the country has gone through over the years - which shed greater light on to some of the questions... More

Here you will go from Rabin's birth to death, seeing his aspirations and accomplishments. In it, you will also see the rebirth of Israel as a nation. Allow about 3-4 hours. It is well worth the trip.

I took visiting overseas family not really knowing what to expect. We were amazed at how much information and film footage, together with photos that was included in the Rabin Centre exhibition. It covers not only the history of Israel from before the War of Independence but also focuses on the contribution made by Yitzhak Rabin z"l during his lifetime.... More

We were told that we should give ourselves 1.5 hours...wrong...we didn't even come close to finishing in almost 2 hours!!! Well presented with references to world wide events to keep you grounded. The technical aspects were amazing, the headphones knew where you were looking and picked up on the appropriate signal. We definitely want and need to go back again!

We gained a lot of knowledge by visiting this place. It does not only tell you Rabin's life story but the story if Israel. Architecture of the museum is amazing.

It's always sad to see a memorial of a great leader assassinated prematurely by some lunatic who unfortunately is still serving time rather than getting a death sentence. The memorial and the square are about a block away.
