The trip was excellent. The places we visited were exciting. However, without much explanations from the guide, it is impossible to appreciate everything. Simon Robinson was a good and friendly guide. He seemed knowledgeable and ever willing to assist. His sense of humour lightened the Trip.

After visiting Egypt and Jordan, my wife and I took the 7-night (February 26 to March 4) Classic Israel tour with Bein Harim (BH) Tours from . Thanks to the guides, drivers and driver/guides (very good to outstanding) and excellent accommodations, our Israeli tour was a highly informative and memorably rewarding adventure. I also want to acknowledge the post-trip help of BH’s Customer Service office. In leaving the Masada tour coach for a taxi transfer to our hotel in Jerusalem, I left a couple of valued items on the coach. Our Masada guide (thanks Rom) turned both items in to the BH office but, due to closure of the BH offices due to Covid-19, the items were inaccessible for a couple of months. But, after re-opening fo the offices, Ofir Nitzan in Customer Service located the more valuable of the two items and arranged its return to me in Canada. Thanks again Bein Harim for a superb set of tours in Israel and to Customer Service and to Ofir for the much-appreciated recovery of my lost item!

I would have felt like there was a part missing from my trip if I didn't go up north and see Nazareth, Jordan, and the Sea of Galilee. But the tour felt very religiously biased. I would have preferred to get the historical facts and where things are disputed I want to hear all the sides and make up my own mind. I felt like the guide was giving her own opinions as if they were fact and so I did not find this tour as informative as I would have liked. We stopped at a restaurant for lunch on the Sea of Galilee, the guide was obviously friends with the owner, which I wouldn't mind, except that there were no other food options around and the restaurant was terrible and very expensive! The pickup was also very disorganised and I had to try and make myself understood to a hotel receptionist to try and get them to phone the company to find out where they were after they were half an hour late. The bus was air-conditioned and comfortable.

Dear Robyn A pity that you chose SO long to wait to post this, your disatisfaction with this tour. It is most unusual to read how you review our guide. They are all so highly reviewed on this platform. Regarding the restaurant on the banks of the sea of Galilea. No she doesn't know the owner! This is the restaurant we eat at, that caters for groups. Thee are NO decent places in this region as you saw, completely rural and with kibbutz settlements all around. The menu is varied with salads and fish.. one can wonder off to eat elsewhere on a group tour. Not sure what you were expecting. Wierd regarding pickup as unless you were at a hotel where we dont collect, this may have been the problem. We can be delayed. Pickup is not an exact science ! Especially in Jerusalem However hard we try daily to collect all our travellers from their exact locations. We are sure when tourism will resume some time, as we are present fully locked down, we will continue to provide services of the highest standard, as is shown on the thousands of reviews on this platform.

We had Norbert for the Masada and Dead Sea tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He speaks so many languages too. He gave a top notch tour of the Masada and delved into the history, which we found so interesting and riveting. Because we had done the sunrise hike earlier in the day, we coordinated to meet him at the Masada instead. He was very patient and kind in finding us and coordinating a meeting spot. If you get Norbert as your tour guide, you will have a fantastic tour.

We spent a week in Israel in December last year (2019). We did 4 of the daily tours. This allows us to cover a large part of the country, and it covered everything we were particularly interested in seeing. Considering it is such an expensive country, the tours were very good value. We had a different Tour Guide each day. They were all excellent. We particularly recall Solomon & Avi, both were very passionate about their country and ensuring we all had a great day. We chose to spend a little bit extra and go on the smaller group tours, which I'm glad we did so there wasn't too much waiting around at different sites. My only criticism is the lunches - they aren't included which is fine but each day you get ushered into a restaurant with a set menu and it's difficult to refuse. Some of the lunch stops are good value, but I think everyone should be given more information about it & more of a choice rather than feeling there is no option.

Dear Kym, thanks SO for making the effort and time to share despite the lapse in time to Express your satisfaction and gratitude for the tour services you received. We appreciate your sharing the guides who were professional and skilled tour managers. Regarding designated restaurants for lunch stops, on a group tour its essential to keep everyone together, as it's so easy to get lost, cause delays and disrupt the schedule. We have much experience in this and these are the best options available in most cases. Yes the menus are to cater for groups in a specific time slot. These are trying times for the entire tourism industry and we hope to back on board very soon.
