One of my favorite places to visit in Tel Aviv: the founders, poets, artists, builders, planners of Tel Aviv from decades ago and just last year. This time I went specifically to find Arik Einstein's grave - one of Israel's most beloved singers who died...More

Sure a few of us thought about the first foundations of the city of Tel-Aviv and othere known people. If you want to know where they are - go to the Old Cemetery in Tel-Aviv and you will see all the most known names

Best to take the guided tour - and get the one that spells out all the juicy stuff of early tel aviv days: the romance, the drama, the artists' cafe's and the stories of Alexander Penn

The cemetery on Trumpeldor Street contains many of the founding father and mothers of the city. It is small but filled with stories. Admittedly I'm prejudiced because I do have a few relatives there.
