Beautiful architecture and tasty food

We had dinner with some friends and business meeting there. Had a chance to walk around the Lobby, and see the inside, which is gorgeous. The food was middle eastern and... read more

If you have time and would like to spend some time knowing more about the modern jerusalem during the 1930/40s then you have to visit this place. From the highest point of the tower you can have a perfect view overlooking the old city but also other different parts. The interior of the place is also magnificent with walls and... More

If you enjoy swimming as exercise then come to this historic pool built in 1926. Do be sure to review the times and days for swim times because not all time slots are available for all genders. The pool water is warm and it is only 20 meters (about 23 yards). It is walking distance from the hotel district and... More

Arrival to the YMCA is awe inspiring. The building and grounds are spectacular. The rooms are clean and well maintained as the primary income for the property is sponsored by the room revenue. The location is key - about 10 minutes walk to the Mamilla mall and the old city and to the main streets for shopping and restaurants -... More

The Jerusalem Y is a beautiful and historic setting for a great meal at the restaurant. Solid and good food, pleasant staff and just an amazing ambiance. Location is great as it's close to the old city and very central

We had dinner with some friends and business meeting there. Had a chance to walk around the Lobby, and see the inside, which is gorgeous. The food was middle eastern and authentic. Good portions and tasty. The background music was a bit loud.

The Jerusalem YMCA has beautiful mosaics and ceiling stencils...even in the pool area. It also has art on display and a lovely cafe on the terrace. The location is superior, right across from the Kind David Hotel, walking distance to the Mamilla mall and the Old City. You do not have to room at the YMCA to enjoy this location.

This YMCA is a lot more than an athletic club for men! It houses an inter-faith preschool, an auditorium for community events and a lot more. But most of all it is a modestly priced HOTEL and a fine RESTAURANT. The architecture and interior lobby are worth a visit in themselves. I rated it 4 stars because my room for... More

Unfortunately this amazing structure has had better days and needs millions to renovate to bring it up to standards expected by the best location in town across the road from King David Hotel. Everything is run down, nothing worse than the weight rooms and the lockers and the pools which are finished in commercial terms. The world YMCA seems to... More

The YMCA is a fantastic building from the same architect of the Empire State Building. It’s a Byzantine meets art deco style in a very well preserved space. Its also a very good option to stay in Jerusalem if you like old school hotels.
